Brakes...

So, later today or tomorrow I will be replacing the front brakes and rotors on a 2000 Saturn SL2. Wish me luck!

Sounds about right..

Arlen Specter squeeled on the teevee today, “Mitt Romney has changed positions more often than a pornographic movie queen?” via Wonkette. I didn't write the squeeled part, they did. Although that's probably accurate too.

Nope, no racism here...

Some of the people we happen to be dealing with... responses to The Hunger Games. I just don't get it. Via Jezebel. Seriously, WTF?

It didn’t take long for security guards at the Glenbow Museum to notice it.

Yelling at clouds! Where's my onion?

It seems that when I was young, back in the days before Rock And Roll, I shoveled a LOT. The last ten or twenty winters I didn't even think were worth sledding in. I remember walking to Hospital Hill with snow above my boots every freaking day. Snow or cold on Halloween, March coming in like a lamb meant no snow storms. How can ANYONE in my age group, living in the Mid-West like I do refute global warming? Seriously???
Because they are fucking psychos, that's why.

Oh, wait... someone who's thought process I can't understand. This is more like my version of life as we know it lately:

How can anyone (especially those claiming to be Christian) follow, and more importantly vote for, these people?

Happy Dance!

Bovine version...

I know this has been all over the place, but still, it's an amazing accomplishment. And there is life down there...

An interesting viewpoint...

One of the Florida Representatives who wrote the "Stand Your Ground' law, in fact the prime sponsor, doesn't seem to think it applies to someone who actively pursues someone against police advice then shoots them in 'self-defense'... in fact he believes the only person involved in this altercation who would have been covered by this act was Trayvon Martin. Not really much of a surprise, to me at least.
